
Multiple news outlets mentioned that a website was created in India to sell Muslim women. Although the action triggered an outrage nationwide, this is the second time this has happened in less than a year. Aljazeera English reported back on July 12th an auction named “Sulli Deal” featured more than 80 Muslim women for sale.
According to CNN, the Indian government is investigating a new auction website named ” Bulli Bai,” which means “penis maid,” according to the news outlet.
It appears the website published about 100 pictures of Muslim women claiming that they are for sale. The website used activists’, journalists’, and film stars’ photos who are vocal about the rising Hindu nationalism in India. The deleted auction was to harass and bully women.
According to ABC news outlet, India arrested 21 years old majoring in technology from the southern city of Bengaluru.
