In Jordan, a Pakistani lady in her seventies who lived in the country suffering poverty found out that she was not very poor after all.
Athra Khan was a nurse who moved to Jordan back in the seventies to help the Jordanian army. Athra decided to stay in Jordan after she accomplished her mission. Since then, She lived in Jordan and flipped a couple of jobs until finally, she decided to retire.
In 2008 she visited social security and applied for retirement, but she never heard back, neither from the social security nor from her bank.
Athra, in her seventies, suffered poverty since 2008. Today, she found out that her retirement fund was approved, and there are more than $60,000 in her bank account.
