According to France24, more than 100,000 protesters gathered across France Saturday, January 8th, to express frustration and rejection towards the new governmental vaccination restrictions.
France plans to start requiring individuals for proof of vaccination before they can access restaurants, use the city transit, or attend events.
The new planned restrictions are coming due to the widespread Covid-19 variant Omicron. On January 8th, France recorded more than 300,000 new covid-19 cases and more than 140 death, according to the Worldmeter.
