The Public Authority for Communications and Information Technology decided to reduce the fixed home internet subscriptions, both wired and wireless, fees by 40%.
The authority aims to improve the internet speed up to 100 MB in some areas where the optical fiber network is being installed.
The maximum annual subscription fees are as follows:

2 MB yearly = 33KD
3 MB yearly = 43KD
4 MB yearly = 52KD
5 MB yearly = 58KD
6 MB yearly = 60KD
7 MB yearly = 70KD
8 MB yearly = 76KD
10 MB yearly = 78KD
12 MB yearly = 83KD
14 MB yearly = 97KD
16 MB yearly = 113KD
18 MB yearly = 128KD
20 MB yearly = 139KD
22 MB yearly = 155KD
24 MB yearly = 172KD
30 MB yearly = 185KD
40 MB yearly = 212KD
50 MB yearly = 239KD
60 MB yearly = 263KD
70 MB yearly = 285KD
80 MB yearly = 304KD
90 MB yearly = 314KD
100 MB yearly = 302KD
The decision states that home internet service providers are prohibited from exceeding the maximum value for home subscriptions stipulated above. Also, it is not permissible to impose a fair use policy in providing home internet services.
