Spider-Man Movie Sold $1B at Box office in 12 Days


The new Spider-Man movie No Way Home, released at the box office last week, surpassed the one billion dollar benchmark worldwide. The movie directed by Jon Watts and starring Tom Holland is from Sony’s Columbia Pictures and Disney’s Marvel Studios.

The movie sold $50 million at the box office the first night and $260 million over the weekend alone, which will make it one of the best-selling movies of all time.

Sing 2 came in second place for the best-selling film at the box office. The movie features high-profile actors such as Matthew McConaughey and Scarlett Johansson. The movie grossed $41m in North American and $65 million worldwide since its release.

The third movie is Matrix Resurrections features Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss which is streaming on HBO Maxas as well grossed $22.5 million in North American in the first five days and $69.8 million worldwide.
