
According to Andalous Agency, the aftermath of Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait left the Iraqi government with hefty damage compensation bills to companies, the Kuwait government, and individuals.
According to the United Nations, Iraq owes Kuwait about $52.4 billion for war damage caused by the invasion back in 1991.
Iraq already paid about $50 Billion, and $2.5 Billion is believed to be paid this year.
