For Every Six Kuwaitis, One Expat gets Vaccinated


According to Bloomberg, although expats are about two-thirds of Kuwait’s population, their vaccination rate is fallen short. According to the source, Kuwait vaccinated about 119,000 Kuwaitis and 18,000 expats. This means for every six Kuwaitis, one expat has been vaccinated.

The news source raised the concern of slower returning to life normality due to racism allegations. It is worth mentioning that Kuwait’s vaccination rate is higher than its neighboring countries, UAE and Saudi Arabia in particular.
