
According to Alanba Newspaper, The Environment Public Authority signed an agreement with the Ministry of Interior to establish used cars standards. The new standards will hold used cars to emission tests. The emission test will be one of the requirements or standards the used car needs to pass before it can be registered.
According to the source, during the five-year agreement, the Environment Public Authority will be present at car inspection centers to measure emissions before renewing registration.
