Blackberry decides to stop supporting blackberry phones’ operating system. Although the company already exited the smartphone operating system industry back in 2016, it kept supporting its products.

In 2020 the company announced it would no longer keep doing that. The main reason is that the company is out of the smartphones market due to the tough competition. The competition started back in 2007 when Apple announced its first touchscreen phone.
Blackberry Phones used to be distinguishable. The idea came back in 1996 when a phone was needed that resample to a computer keyboard. The idea was attractive to business people who want to work on the go.
