In Kuwait, multiple news outlets announced today that the health ministry diagnosed 12 new positive cases of the new Covid-19 variant Omicron, coming from several European countries.
Omicron is four times more contiguous than other Covid-19 variants, and it is spreading fast. Although Omicron imposes less risk of death when infected, it is causing fear and uncertainty around the globe, according to different sources.
Also, The Ministry of Health announced:
- 143 new cases of Covid-19
- the booster shot is available for 16 years old and above
- Walk-in vaccination is available in Mishref
